Mobile Digital TV are developing rapidly, and there are many competing standards, even within the same country. For example, Mobile TV can be delivered on T/S-DMB, DVB-H, MediaFLO, MPH, CMMB/ STiMi, T-MMB, DTMB broadcast systems, on 3G, 3.5G/ HSDPA, UMTS/ MBMS/ TD-CDMA (TDtv) cellular systems, or WiMAX/ WAVE2. Analog TV will still be used for a few years, but gradually digital TV will phase in when industries commercialize its applications.
